How old do you have to be to open an account?
Students 14-17 must open an account at a Seacoast Bank branch. Students 18-24 can open an account online or at a Seacoast Bank branch

Do I have to be a student to qualify?
Yes, a student ID is required to open the account

What if the college I attend is not in Florida?
Not a problem as long as the address for your permanent residence is in Florida

Is there a monthly maintenance fee2?

1. No Fees at Allpoint-logo ATMs. Worldwide includes the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Mexico.
2. $0 monthly maintenance fee when primary signer meets age requirement and opts to receive e-statements and has one direct deposit of $250 or more per statement cycle OR opts to receive eSstatements and performs 7 debit card purchases per statement cycle, otherwise a $10 monthly maintenance fee will apply. If primary signer is under the age of 18, then a parent or legal guardian must be a co-signer on the account.
3. The age requirement for the Primary Signer on the account is between the ages of 14-24. Parent/guardian must be a secondary signer on accounts if the primary signer is under 18. A student ID must be presented at time of opening. No minimum balances required. Courtesy overdraft is not offered on this product (ESP score or Reg E Opt in).
