American Banker and Best Companies Group initiated the Best Banks to Work For program in 2013 to identify, recognize, and honor U.S. banks for outstanding employee satisfaction. Determining the Best Banks to Work For involves a two-step process. The first step consists of an evaluation of participating companies’ workplace policies, practices, and demographics. In the second step, employees are surveyed to directly assess their experiences and attitudes with respect to the workplace. The combined scores determine the top banks and final rankings.
