Apple Pay Has Arrived

Posted by Seacoast Bank on Feb 9, 2016 3:18:03 PM

Exciting news! Apple Pay™ is now available for your Seacoast Visa® Debit Card or Seacoast Credit Card! Enjoy the convenience of using your iPhone for purchases big & small with a simple in-app touch.

Now paying in stores happens in one natural motion — there’s no need to open an app or even wake your display thanks to the innovative Near Field Communication antenna in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. To pay, just hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. Or you can double-click the Home button when your iPhone is locked to access Wallet and quickly make your purchases. Your card number is never stored on your device, and when you pay your debit or credit card numbers are never sent to merchants. Apple Pay assigns a unique number for each purchase, so your payments stay private and secure.

To set up your card on Apple Pay

  • On your iPhone, open Wallet; On your iPad, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay
  • Tap Add Credit or Debit Card
  • Use the camera to capture the information on your Seacoast Personal Debit Card. Then fill in any additional information needed.
  • Tap Next. Seacoast will verify your information. If more information is needed, we'll ask you to call our customer service team.
  • After your card is verified, tap Next. Now you can begin using your Seacoast card with Apple Pay
Please note you will need your physical card handy in order to complete set up.
